In order to visit the Canton Fair, you need to first get an Official Invitation. There are several ways to get an invitation, the easiest perhaps is if you already do business with a Chinese manufacturer, they can arrange it for you. If not, then through the cantontradefair.com is an easy way to apply online, or ask at the Economic and Commercial department of the Chinese Embassy.
Once you have the official invitation you can then apply for a Business Visa.
When you arrive in Guangzhou before the fair, you will need to register and you can usually do this at your hotel, most of the business hotels offer this service. You’ll need a photo, 5cm x 4cm as well as your invitation and passport to get an entry badge, the IC card, which gives you free access to the exhibition.

The Pazhou Complex was opened in 2002 and it is located in Pazhou island, the southern part of Guangzhou. It is now one of the venues for the China Export Commodities Fair (or “Canton Fair”). The Pazhou Complex has 16 indoor exhibition halls on the first and the second floors and can be cover up to 10,200 exhibition spaces. It has an indoor exhibition area of 160,000 sqm and an outdoor exhibition area of 22,000sqm.

The Pazhou Complex is accessible by either the Pazhou or XinGangDong metro station, both on line 8. XinGangDong is closer to Area A of the Canton Fair while the Pazhou station is closer to Area B and C. 293  Behind the square is the memorial archway, on which the name of the palace is written over the top, and some inscriptions written on both sides. Once you have gone through it, you will come to the main gate where honored the statues of two legendary immortals, Clairvoyance (thousand-mile eye) and clairaudience (wind-accompanying ear).
