Chinese exporters are keen to develop a new competitive edge through brand-building and technological development amid grim export prospects this year. China’s exports saw a stable recovery in the first quarter thanks to an effective stabilization policy and a rebound in international market demand.
Canton Fair organizers signed a series of cooperation agreements with financial organizations, including China Construction Bank, China Export and Credit Insurance Corp, UnionPay International and BOC Credit Card (International) Ltd, which will jointly provide online trade financing, loans and credit grading services for Chinese exporters.
The Canton Fair is one of the largest trade fairs in the world it enables buyers from the US to meet and select suppliers from China. It is held twice a year, once in Spring and once in Fall. The fair is the longest established event of its kind in China and dates back to 1957. Over 20,000 Chinese foreign trade entities are represented; all have respectable records of working for export markets and a sound financial history.
